`khavi is going through the final phase of her schooling at [link] and has been going absolutely crazy trying to get everything done - both on time and high quality. She has been putting out all of these requests for models and people who want to help her get her projects done. This girl Natasha responded interested in working with her. Khavi showed me natasha's profile on myspace (perhaps to see if I would be interested in working with her too). Well, I did want to work with Natasha and I wrote to her - telling her so. We started chattin' back and forth for quite a while (5-6 emails a day) and as it turned out - we had a ton of stuff in common. Though she has a boyfriend who is moving in with her in a few days - I knew that I wanted to be this girl's friend. People like her don't come along very often. So as we were talking... and it became evident that we were both hitting it off quite well...she told me that I need to meet her best friend who is just like her and single (wink wink). I hesitantly agreed to meet her friend - and shoot with her... figuring I had nothing to lose... though I don't really like getting set up.

Dani was the friend... a petite firery red head... and we shot around the studio complex while Natasha and Khavi took care of all the stuff that Khavi needed to shoot for her assignments. Natasha did not handle this meeting as well as I would have. Dani had never seen any of my photography... and didn't really have very much in the way of volition to model. She was also shy, and i think meeting someone in the context of a pre-date plus having to perform for his camera... well... that wasn't a good combination.

The photos were cool though. I am trying some new stuff - in preparation for my next step... going to art school.
