This is so much more than a photo of a statue or monument... but there is no better category that will make everyone happy. No one can deny what this is about - on both levels.
Taken in film (Kodak 120 400VC) using a pentacon six tl medium format camera. The camera was fitted with 80mm 2.8 zeiss jena lens. This is a scan from the negative. I tweaked a little - but it wouldn't be mine if I didn't. I don't consider myself an editorial photographer. I prefer wild life. But the thought about this image... is wild. And so it goes... ... Taken on a trip to the statue of liberty with my buddy Scott and his family. I brought a little more than half a roll of 120 film in the pentacon. Got some great stuff. This is my favorite. Comments

-- Things are seldom what they seem, Skim milk masquerades as cream; Highlows pass as patent leathers; Jackdaws strut in peacock's feathers.  not to sound picky but that's not justice that's lady liberty. you could title it "liberty lost" or something. hope i didn't bug you with this
