The model is Mariah. She came out to the studio to shoot for fun. She knew I was in a bit of a slump and decided to cheer me up with some really cool outfits. This last series - in the deepest darkest recesses of the basement were shot kinda as an afterthought. She was in the dirty part with the machines and the dust - wearing a mechanic jumpsuit. Though, it didn't stay on for very long.
This was shot using available light. No strobes. The available light in this case was an overhead florescent light that flickered a bit. I think the effect is good... but the colors were a bit weird... I did the best i could in adjusting. Check out my ISO... shockingly not a lot of grain. Comments
There seems to be a bit of flare on top the elbow to the right, which for a perfectionist like me kinda annoys me, but you can't always make it perfect. I like the composition of this one, not something you see too often. Of the two you've posted however, I still prefer the B&W.
-- Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni "You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus." -- Mark Twain I noticed the flare... I didn't use a lens hood. But, I thought about using my hand to shield it... but was like...why? It's a weird shot - why not add some flare...
