Artist's Comments

The model is the newly turned 18 and quite leggy Steph. She is an animal lover (specifically horses - hence the tattoo) and is going to be studying pre-vet in college in the fall. She reminds me a lot of two girls that were close to me in my life (her personality is that of an ex girlfriend - and her looks are that of a close friend from years back). When I saw her on myspace... I just had to get her into the studios. When I found out that she had desire to model previously... well... it all came together quite well.

This was shot late last night... Not bad for her first time in front of the camera.

Gosh, I love corsets.

What a beautiful face this model possesses. Hope to see more of her in your (near) future work :)

I love the color here!
The pink eyeshadow, and the pink corset lend a great balance to the shot!
IMO....;)

What lighting did you use? And where?
:iconjacksilver:
Same lighting and same location as: [link]

Both images were created with two lights. One on top of another. One on the ground aimed up. One on a stand aimed down.

In Anna Glam 8: You can see the two lights (one is a shoot through umbrella - bottom; the other is a large softbox - top) in her eyes as catchlights.

I shot - between the two lights.

In Steph: Glam 1: You can see the two lights - but both are large softboxes.

Also - the exact location in the thin hallway was different. But overall the concepts are the same.

The kicker is...

it would have been the same if I had used the GIANT octabox... or the two smaller softboxes... no shadows.

The lighting here really makes her skin glow, which adds to the innocense that she exudes. I like that the corset and eyeshadow match, it not only a good color on her, but it also contrasts well with her dark hair.

This is a lovely image. Do you have any intention of making a print of it?
:iconjacksilver:
It's funny. I tend to offer as prints (through DA) the ones that I feel will have mass appeal - and that I wouldn't be able to keep everyone who wanted one happy if I only offered a limited edition signed and numbered print. It seems that I am wrong.

If you would like to buy a print - I can put it up on DA Prints for whatever their prices are. OR - I can offer you a limited edition print (series of 25) - in either 8x10, 11x14, or 12x18 for a little more.

Just note me - and we can go from there.
