I am a big fan of the explorations into abandoned places. Usually, my focus is on the models I bring with me. But oftentimes, I will shoot the beaty that I see without anyone in the frame. This is an example of that type of moment. It came from a new look at some old photos - and the desire to edit some.
As ~cmulcahy would say... "Treasure!" I would appreciate comments on this one. Thanks to: *S1mbelmyne for suggesting this as a DD and of course ^opioid for featuring it as such. Daily DeviationGiven 2007-12-15The elegance of decay by =JackSilver "could not have been better named. The monochromatic tones, with contrasting writings in red on the walls, create a very dramatic atmosphere, but also fine, despite the decay. The wheelchair and the strings on the door are a great and well-thought touch." (Suggested by ~S1mbelmyne and Featured by ^opioid) Commentswow. this is definitely not my idea of your usual photography, it's very different. And great. Really great. And that wheelchair is a great model.
And I just wrote 3 times the word great, 4, in a comment. -- (\__/) (+'.'+) This is Bunny. -- Gallery | Website | Photos and the Law I greatly appreciate your great response to my, as you call it, great work.
Seriously... you are right - this is not my usual fare... I am glad that someone other than myself and Cassandra appreciate it too. -- Gallery | Website | Photos and the Law I find beauty in this. I honestly can't tell you why. I just do.
I lack the time to go exploring and find whatever is out there. I did that a lot when I was a kid. I wish I had a camera back then. Then I could share the treasures I found. -- I really got to stop procastinating. Eh, I'll do it tomorrow. |
