Not sure what the fascination with Elmo is...
Second time I have seen and photographed him in or around times square. This time - he didn\'t catch me peeping as he was doing some sort of no pants dance. Taken with Leica M8 + Carl Zeiss Hologon 16mm f/16. Comments
 Ok Mat I like the idea and where you were going with the image. However Elmo gets lost in the shot with all the background light and distraction.
If you added a fill or a stronger fill flash it would have given Elmo the much needed attention he needs to stand out. Also by adding the fill it would let you drag the shutter a bit more keeping Elmo a bit more sharp then your background. Totally agree with what you said. Having a fill or a flash would have given him the needed attention... but then again - it would have also gotten his attention and not really been a "street" photo.
It was just one of those captures... a moment happening right before you. You do what you can with the equipment you got. Thanks for the feedback though. Always appreciated. -- Gallery | Website | Photos and the Law Anytime Jack
